The National Maximafilia Commission is one of the technical bodies of the Brazilian Federation of Philately (FEBRAF) and proposes to publicize Maximafilia as a philatelic modality, through the dissemination of the maximum postal rules among collectors, exhibitors and others interested in preparing pieces of this type with Brazilian stamps, use maximum postage in thematic collections and/or assemble Maximafilia collections based on the rules established by the International Federation of Philately (FIP). It is also responsible for choosing the maximum Brazilian postal that will represent the country in the annual competition for the Best Postal Maximum organized by the FIP's Maximafilia Commission.
WORK PLAN
Goals:
Encourage the development of maximum postage stamps from Brazil, in accordance with FIP rules.
Encourage the use of postcard maximums in themed collections.
Promote and consolidate the development of Maximafilia as a philatelic class in Brazil.
To elect, annually, the best Brazilian postal card that will represent the country in the Best World Postal Maximum competition organized by the Maximafilia Commission of the FIP.
Goals:
Encourage the creation of maximum postcards with stamps from Brazil, through the dissemination of how to obtain the elements of composition of the maximum postcard (stamp, postcard and stamp) and knowledge of the Maximafilia rules established by the FIP.
Encourage the exchange of postcards between collectors in Brazil and also between Brazilian collectors and collectors from other countries.
Encourage the use of postcard maximums in thematic collections and also the development of new collections in the Maximafilia class.
Strive, whenever possible, for the inclusion, in philatelic exhibitions, of collections in the Maximafilia class, both in competitive and non-competitive exhibitions.
Promote the dissemination of Maximafilia using the Internet, both on sites and communities specific to Maximafilia and Philately in general.
Develop and disseminate, in magazines and philately bulletins, at least 8 (eight) articles per year, illustrated with maximum postage, including thematic articles and didactic articles for dissemination of the Maximafilia rules established by the FIP.
Promote at least 1 (one) lecture on Maximafilia per year, as part of the program of exhibitions and/or philatelic meetings.
Prepare the annual report with the activities carried out, including the number of new different Brazilian postal maximums prepared during the year, philatelic activities carried out and the notification of the issuance of postal maximums by the postal entity (Post Office) that are in disagreement with the FIP rules, among others, for submission to the FIP Maximafilia Commission.
Organize, annually, the election of the best Brazilian postal maximum that will represent the country and cast the vote as a representative of FEBRAF in the Best World Postal Maximum contest organized by the Maximafilia Commission of the FIP.
Keep the record of maximum postal collectors updated, containing contact information and preferences for each one.
Use the information page of the National Maximafilia Commission on the FEBRAF website as a channel for greater dissemination and consolidation of Maximafilia as a philatelic class in Brazil.
